OUR HISTORY
2009
Helios Packaging starts selling sleeve machines, and offers a limited range of services such as preliminary studies and contract packaging. In Schoten, we start to prepare for our growth on the flexible packaging market.
2012
The company extends the scope of its activities in Schoten and launches the production of sleeves (‘converting’). Preliminary studies and precise finishing techniques guarantee that the final result is perfect.
2015
We start the ISO certification process. We want to document our processes and be able to provide our customers with the necessary certificates. In 2017, we receive the ISO label.
2016
Helios Packaging continues on its exciting journey. We search and find larger premises at the Uilenbaan in Wommelgem. We now have a full-scale production unit, that includes a state of the art flexo print shop, a laboratory, and finishing and test facilities.
2017
The site in Wommelgem is fully operational and working at full steam. To continue our growth, we expand our team with printers, operators, customer service and sales staff. In one year’s time, we double the number of employees.
2018
We continue to grow and we decide to focus on branding, too. A new website with a contemporary look and feel goes live in November.
2024
We are joining the SLEEVER ® Group.
Founder of the concept and owner of the SLEEVER® brand, the Group offers brands innovative sleeving solutions with high added value, offering several functionalities: decoration, personalization, security, sales promotion, information and traceability.
Thanks to a vertical integration that is unique on the market, the Group controls the entire value chain, from the formulation of films, the shaping and printing of heat-shrink sleeve labels, to the construction of capital goods and the provision of services.
